Expert Picks For Feb.9: Rangers Cover Against Horrendous Hawks

Our NHL expert picks for tonight February 9 will give you one bet to make for each of the three games on the schedule. Why not head into the weekend with some no-sweat bets to make?

Pittsburgh Penguins vs Minnesota Wild

Pittsburgh-1.5 (+200)O6 (-108)-125
Wild+1.5 (-245)U6 (-112)+105

Pick: UNDER 6

The Penguins might not have the results going their way recently, but we don't care too much about that. We're looking at the total for this one. Then Pens have kept the total UNDER seven times in their last 10 games. They're playing classic 3-2 hockey right now.

Minnesota is 25-22-3 on the year but they've kept the total UNDER in their last three games.

I'm following that trend tonight.

New York Rangers vs Chicago Blackhawks

Rangers-1.5 (-112)O5.5 (-115)-298
Blackhawks+1.5 (-108)U5.5 (-105)+240

Pick: Rangers -1.5 (-112)

The New York Rangers have found their mojo it seems. They've got three wins in a row while scoring a total of 12 goals in those three games. Next up is the hapless Blackhawks.

Chicago hasn't covered the puckline five times in their last nine. The only times they did was against the horrendous Sharks, a flailing Islanders side that was just about to make a coaching change as well as the poor Flames and Wild.

I doubt they do so against a Rangers side that's, seemingly, back to their best.

Edmonton Oilers vs Anaheim Ducks
Matchup Page: Edmonton Oilers vs Anaheim Ducks, 10 PM ET

TeamPucklineTotalMoneyline
Oilers-1.5 (-115)O6.5 (-108)-278
Ducks+1.5 (-105)U6.5 (-112)+225

Pick: U6.5 (-112)

Man, the Oilers love hitting the UNDER. They've done so in their last 11 games. And now they face a pathetic Ducks squad that has kept the total UNDER in back-to-back games. While at home, Anaheim is 14-10-2 (54%) against the UNDER.

The score of this game goes below the total. No doubt.
