---|---|---|---|

Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Rangers Series Preview
Michel's Take: In the last five regular season matchups between these two divisional rivals, the UNDER has hit four times. So we're already starting on the right foot. Their recent playoff history also favors the UNDER with an 8-2 record in two series since 2020.
Now look at their individual playoff record against the total and you'll like the UNDER for this afternoon's game.
In Carolina's series with the Islanders, the UNDER is 3-2. In New York's sweep of Washington, the UNDER hit twice. But let's be honest, Washington isn't the same defensive side that Carolina is; specifically, on the PK. Washington was effective 62.5% against the Rangers' power play. Carolina who held the best PK during the regular season won't have the same problem.
I'm taking the UNDER tonight.
Michel's Pick: UNDER 5.5 (-122)
Game 7: Stars vs Golden Knights
The Game: Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights, 7:30 PM ET
Team | Puckline | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Vegas Golden Knights | +1.5 (-218) | O5.5 (+120) | +124 |
Dallas Stars | -1.5 (+180) | U5.5 (-142) | -148 |
Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights Series Preview
Michel's Take: We've got a Game 7 in a series where the UNDER has hit four times in six games (67%). Now consider that little stat I threw at you yesterday for the Toronto-Boston Game 7:
In the past 10 years, we've seen 39 game 7's (Dallas-Vegas will be the 40th). And in those 39 games, the UNDER has hit 27 times. Or an outstanding (69%). Why would you bet on anything else than the UNDER tonight?
Michel's Pick: UNDER 5.5 (-142)
Side Prop Bet: Since Game 2, Oettinger has faced no less than 25 shots on net. His save prop tonight is 25.5. With Vegas tossing a ton of rubber at him through this series and the Otter stopping 94% of them O25.5 saves at -125 sounds like a good bet tonight.
