Bayern looking to make it five wins in a row away to Eintracht Frankfurt

Niko Kovac looks to have found the right formula at Bayern Munich, with the defending champions winning their last four league games in a row to put themselves very much back in title contention. On Saturday they travel to fifth-place Eintracht Frankfurt looking to increase the pressure on rivals Borussia Dortmund at the top of the pile with another victory in the league.

Bayern has found its rhythm

There was a solid start followed by a disastrous dip in the middle, but Bayern would appear to be back on track in its hunt for the Bundesliga crown. The Munich giants sit third in the table, although they have cut Dortmund’s lead at the top from nine to six points following the midweek round of action. Now Bayern must keep that momentum up as they face a tricky trip to take on Eintracht Frankfurt.

Eintracht currently sits fifth in the table, just a point behind RB Leipzig in fourth. They have won half of their league games and are scoring at a rate of over two goals per game. Their defence can be their Achilles heel, however, with the side leaking 1.25 goals per game at present.
