Rollins is the Odds-On Betting Favorite to Win the Royal Rumble

Seth Rollins is the betting favorite to win the 2019 Royal Rumble this Sunday at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. The latest odds released on the event show Rollins at -125 to win the Royal Rumble match and earn himself a title shot at WrestleMania in April.

In the era of spoilers and spoiled wrestling fans on the internet, it’s tough for the WWE to surprise anyone anymore but it is possible that they have something up their sleeve.

Will Kenny Omega Debut?

The “New Japan is better than WWE” sect will be quite upset to read that sportsbooks are offering odds on former NJPW champion Kenny Omega being among the final four competitors at the Rumble.

Odds released by Bovada list Kenny Omega at +1200 to be among the final four competitors – the same odds as established superstars Bobby Lashley, Bray Wyatt, Kurt Angle, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar.

Rumors of Omega to WWE have been feverish and the latest episode of the Being The Elite web series did nothing to dispel the thought that there’s a long-term contract looming for Omega that will keep him away from the All Elite Wrestling promotion that has been started by The Young Bucks.

Omega has also been quoted saying that he is leaving NJPW, but there’s debate about whether this is part of a storyline or is actually legitimate.

Seeing him listed as an option at sportsbooks will only fuel the speculation that he has followed AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor to WWE.

Hedge By Betting the Final Four

There are plenty of ways to bet the men’s Royal Rumble match. You can bet the outright winner, to be in the final four, who will have the most eliminations or who will be in the match the longest.

Looking at the final four, Seth Rollins is all but a lock at -1000 while Finn Balor is -400. I like the value on Samoa Joe at +700 and Kevin Owens at +1000 – I’ll be keeping an eye on these numbers as the event approaches.  Take a look at the odds below to figure out your best bet.
