NBA, Premier League, La Liga & UFC Picks for February 12, 2021 | Odds Shark’s Guys & Bets

The Friday tradition continues as your favorite sports betting show is here!

Join Joe Osborne and Andrew Avery as they get you ramped up for a huge slate of games in the NBA tonight, and some soccer and UFC picks for this weekend.

In the NBA tonight, the Dallas Mavericks are hosting the New Orleans Pelicans. Surprisingly, both of these teams sit on the outside looking in as far as the playoffs are concerned. Dallas is a small home favorite, but Joe is looking at a first-quarter bet here.

Sticking with the Association, the Memphis Grizzlies are on the road to take on the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers give up the second-fewest points in the league at 105.2. So, scoring could be at a premium for the Grizz. As for player props, Joe has been on fire with them so far this NBA season, so he’s got his eye on a little something here.

UFC 258 goes Saturday night with the welterweights taking center stage. The champion, Kamaru Usman, puts his title on the line against the top challenger, Gilbert Burns. The champion is a huge betting favorite, so instead of picking a winner, Joe is looking at a bet on the total rounds for the fight. Usman has gone to decision in 53 percent of his fights, while Burns comes back at a 21 percent clip. Burns is riding a six-fight winning streak, with four of those wins coming via decision.

Ninja has a couple footy picks lined up and he starts in the Premier League with West Brom hosting Manchester United. The top-scoring team in the Prem, Man United, sits in second place, five points behind Manchester City. It’s a steep hill to climb as far as catching City, but United can continue to cement themselves in a spot for Champions League. It’s been a dreadful season for West Brom, managing only two wins through 23 games. A moneyline bet wouldn’t be worth it considering the price, so Ninja has a better value spot in this game.

Over to La Liga now as Celta Vigo faces Elche. Not exactly two household teams, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t betting value to be had. As has been the case for his soccer capping, Ninja has an xGA stat that helps support this bet. Looking at the goal totals for each squad, Celta Vigo has scored eight more goals on the season, while allowing five more than Elche. Ninja has a plus-money bet for this game on a goal prop.
