MLB Home Run Props April 15 2024

MLB Home Run Props For April 15th: Back Schwarber To Mash

Home run props are the epitome of high-risk, high-reward MLB betting. So, let's find some reward.

I've got a pair of homer picks for tonight's game, banking on some big boppers to go yard against home-run prone pitchers. Follow along for my two home run prop bets for April 15th:

Pick 1: Kyle Schwarber To Homer (+190)

Phillies vs Rockies Matchup Preview - Game Time: 6:40 pm ET

This MLB homer prop has everything I look for in a long-ball bet.

For starters, Schwarber bangs. The barrel of a man has 46 or more homers in each of the last two seasons and has 13 already in 2024. In particular, he kills right-handed pitching .For his career he's got 204 of his 249 career dingers against righties, with a much higher OPS against RHP, too.

Wouldn't you know it, Schwarber plays a homer-prone righty tonight, as well. Rockies starter Cal Quantrill has a 7.20 ERA in three starts this year, allowing four homers in the three outings. Schwarber has also mashed against Quantrill in a limited sample, hitting three homers in 11 career at-bats.

Pick 2: Ryan McMahon To Homer (+450)

Phillies vs Rockies Matchup Preview - Game Time: 6:40 pm ET

McMahon has just two homers on the year but he's playing well overall. The Rockies infielder is hitting .373 on the season and has more walks than strikeouts in his last five games.

Most importantly, he mashes against Phillies starter Aaron Nola. In 10 career at-bats against the Phillies righty, McMahon has a .873 OPS with two extra-base hits (including a homer). Nola has been pretty homer-prone so far this year, as well, allowing four dingers in three starts.
