Dodgers vs Rockies Matchup Page
You Know Nothing, Jon Gray
Sure, it’s a great play on words, but, actually, Jon Gray has been one of the best starters in baseball for the last two months. Since June 22, Colorado is 6-0 SU in Jon Gray's starts. Over that stretch, he’s got a 1.55 ERA and a 0.75 WHIP. The Rockies have won four of Gray’s last five starts against the Dodgers and all four of his career starts against them at Coors Field.
LA has lost five of the last six games Kenta Maeda (7-7, 3.73 ERA, 1.25 WHIP) has started. The Dodgers have split Maeda’s first two starts vs the Rockies in 2018, a 3-1 loss on June 30 and a 3-0 win on May 23. Maeda factored in both decisions. He threw a combined 13.2 innings allowing seven hits, two earned runs and struck out 21 for an ERA of 1.32 and a 0.95 WHIP vs Colorado.
