Teheran has fared terribly when Sportsbook games
Wade Miley and Julio Teheran are listed as the probable starts. Miley (2-1, 2.10 ERA) returned to the rotation in mid-July after going on the disabled list with injuries to his left groin and oblique. The 31-year-old has posted a 2.25 ERA in five starts since then, limiting opponents to a .212 batting average in 28 innings of work. The hurler drew a no-decision in his previous start, giving up three runs on five hits in five innings Sunday against Colorado.
Teheran (8-7, 4.48) owns a 8.18 ERA in the Sportsbook inning of games this year. The 27-year-old drew a no-decision on Sunday against the New York Mets, rebounding from a shaky start to give up three runs on five hits while walking four in 5 2/3 innings. Teheran owns a 4.23 ERA in 11 home starts in 2018, striking out 59 in 61 2/3 innings.
Can the Brew Crew cash a seventh straight OVER?
The Brewers have been a fantastic OVER bet of late, as each of Milwaukee’s past six tilts have gone above the closing total. The OVER is also 4-1 in the Brewers’ past five games when Miley takes the mound. Based on those trends alone, expect the OVER to get plenty of traction at sportsbooks.
