Check Tuesday! Check Tuesday!

It's a great day for an MLB same-game parlay, and I'm all in on the Orioles for today's picks. Check out the three legs for my Orioles vs Twins same-game parlay for April 16th below:

Orioles vs Twins Same-Game Parlay: April 16th

The Game: Orioles vs Twins - 6:36 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Orioles Moneyline-166
Grayson Rodriguez over 6.5 strikeouts-134
Jackson Holliday over 0.5 hits-135

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: O's Moneyline

The key here is a significant pitching edge in the direction of Baltimore. Baltimore righty Grayson Rodriguez has been lights out to start this season. He's got a 2.50 ERA in his first three outings, striking out everyone and winning both of his decisions.

On the flip side, Chris Paddack has been pretty terrible to start 2024. The righty, who has an ERA near five since 2019, has posted a 5.99 FIP in his first two outings this year. He's walking a lot, giving up homers, and not striking out that many guys either — a bad combo.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Grayson Rodriguez over 6.5 Ks

Not only has Rodriguez been great this year, but a big key for me in this SGP is the Twins' inability to hit right-handed pitching. Minnesota currently ranks as the second-worst team in baseball against righties. The Twins' .596 OPS against RHP is better than only the Chicago White Sox.

As a team, the Twins are hitting just .180 with a .276 OBP against righties, meaning there's plenty of opportunity for GRod to rack up strikeouts.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Jackson Holliday To Get A Hit

I won't lie, this is kind of a vibes pick. Holliday has just one hit in his first 19 MLB plate appearances, good for a .053 batting average. But, he's got the talent and he hits right-handed pitchers better, at least in the minors. So, with a weaker matchup against a righty like Paddack, I'll back the kid to get things going.
