Braves vs Diamondbacks Same Game Parlay

DBacks vs Braves Same Game Parlay For April 5: Back Strider

Got another win on my MLB same-same parlay last night, so let's go back for another today.

For Friday, I'm highlighting the Braves vs Diamondbacks matchup, with first pitch scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET in Atlanta, Georgia. Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the four parlay legs I need to hit:

Last SGP: April 4th - Pirates vs Nats (+343)

  • Pirates Moneyline (Hit)
  • Martin Perez OVER 3.5 Ks (Hit)
  • Oneil Cruz To Get A Hit (Hit)

Nailed it! Pumped to get another big Pirates win and a great start from Martin Perez to get us the win.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Braves -1.5

Sure, the Braves were held to just two runs by the White Sox on Tuesday. But, I still think they're the most formidable lineup in baseball. In three of Atlanta's five games this year they've scored at least nine runs and are averaging 7.2 runs per game. It helps that they face Arizona's Tommy Henry tonight, too.

Henry is the worst pitcher in the DBacks' rotation and, even worse, he's a lefty. Last season the Braves were far and away the best team in baseball against southpaws like Henry.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Strider Over 7.5 Ks

In Strider's last 10 starts, dating back to last year's regular season, the hard-throwing righty has surpassed 7.5 strikeouts six times. In two starts against the Diamondbacks last year, Strider had 20 strikeouts in 12 innings.

This line is pretty well set, but I think the Diamondbacks lineup has some potential for big swing and miss this year. They added Joc Pederson and Eugenio Suarez as regulars, both of whom strike out a bunch. So, expect a lot of swing and miss from the DBacks tonight.

Same-Game Parlay Picks No. 3 and 4: Albies, Ozuna Hits

This bet is pretty simple. Albies and Ozuna crushed lefties last year, but their hit prop lines were still reasonable enough to bet on. In 2023, Albie hit .391 against southpaws while Ozuna hit .278. Both Braves batters had OPS over .980 against southpaws.
