Michael Conforto and the Giants face the Reds

MLB Same-Game Parlay April 10: Nationals vs Giants (+475)

It's Wednesday (a day that ends in Y), so we've got more MLB same-game parlay picks for you.

This time, we're tackling the Nationals vs Giants game at 3:45 p.m. ET in San Francisco.

Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the three parlay legs I need to hit:

Nationals vs Giants Same-Game Parlay: April 10

The Game: Nationals vs Giants - 3:45 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Jordan Hicks UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts+105
Giants to win-200
UNDER 10.5 Runs-275
Overall+475

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Jordan Hicks UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (+105)

Hicks has surprised everyone with his start to the season. The reliever-turned-starter has been a beauty this year for San Fran, surrendering just one run and one walk through 12 innings pitched. So why fade him?

My key number here focuses on the Nats. For some reason, this club doesn't strike out. Starting pitchers facing the Nationals have hit their strikeout OVER in just two of 12 games this year. On top of that, Washington has forced a strikeout UNDER in four straight.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Giants to win (-200)

Now, Hicks might not hit his strikeout total, but that doesn't mean the Giants are pooched. First, the G-Men have won both Hicks' starts this year, which hopefully counters their soggy 2-4 SU record as favorites this season.

Washington claimed the first two contests of this series but with Patrick Corbin on the mound for the Nats, and a San Fran offense ready to burst, I'll toss a chalky ML pick into this parlay.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: UNDER 10.5 Runs (-275)

The final leg hinges on good pitching from Hicks and just enough offensive firepower to push San Francisco across without making this a gong show.

I used a chalkier alternate line at O/U 10.5 (-275) because the Giants are yet to exceed this single-game total in 2024 as the favorites.
