Pick 1: Pirates vs Mets No Run First Inning (-120)

In my MLB expert picks piece, I established the framework for Martin Perez to continue his dominant stretch on the hill. And if we operate under the assumption the Pirates lefty succeeds, this bet won't be a sweat.
Pittsburgh isn't a great YRFI team. In 16 games, the club is 11-5 NRFI, with only two first-inning scores of its own. The Mets are better, with an 8-7 YRFI score.
But as I said, with Perez blanking the Mets and the Bucs' lack of first-inning firepower, we can squeak through the first frame of Monday's contest run-free.
Pick 2: Twins vs Orioles Yes Run First Inning (-125)

The O's and Twins are good at scoring in the first inning. Baltimore is 8-7 YRFI this season, with eight first-inning runs of its own. Minny is 8-6 YRFI with four scores.
I anticipate this being a high-scoring affair. The Orioles are 9-4-2 O/U/P on the year, and Baltimore has cashed the OVER in four straight contests. Add struggling Twins starter Louie Varland to the mix, and you get an increased chance of some first-inning action.
