Following a high-speed, rain-delayed race at Chicagoland Speedway, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series continues its pedal to the metal approach at Daytona International Speedway this Saturday night in the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Alex Bowman earned his first Cup series victory last week and he has +1800 odds to repeat, however, it is Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski with odds of +700 who top the oddsboard.
Sportsbook has Logano and Keselowski as the favorites at +700 followed by Denny Hamlin at +1000, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Kevin Harvick at +1100 and Kurt Busch, Ryan Blaney and Clint Bowyer at +1400 to round out the top drivers on the oddsboard.
Standout Stats
My Best Bet for the Coke Zero Sugar 400
Kevin Harvick +1100
As I mentioned above, last week it appeared Kevin Harvick woke up and perhaps this is a good time to jump on him at 11/1. He has had his difficulties staying on the track at Daytona so it’s a little hard to cap, but he has qualified sixth or better in all five of his starts in a Ford and led multiple laps in three of those. Basically, it’s a question of whether he can stay clean for the race.
Brad Keselowski +700
Similarly to Harvick, Keselowski has had some tough luck at the superspeedway, but he certainly knows how to maneuver his way to the front of the pack in these restrictor-plate races. He has five wins at Talladega and one at Daytona so if trouble avoids him, he has a serious chance of driving to victory lane on Saturday night.
