The NBA has completely overhauled the format for the 2025 All-Star Game at the Chase Center on February 16, veering away from the traditional Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference exhibition and electing to go with a four-team tournament to hopefully boost interest and improve the on-court product.
Three of the teams comprised of players selected to the All-Star rosters will be coached by "Inside The NBA" hosts Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley, while the fourth will be led by WNBA legend Candace Parker and will be the winning roster from the Castrol Rising Stars competition on Feb. 14.
Two teams will meet in one semifinal matchup, while the other two teams will meet in the other. The winners of those two games will then compete for the All-Star crown in a third and deciding contest. The first team to reach the 40-point mark in each game will be declared the victor, so there will be no clock or quarters/halves of play.
Here's a look at the rosters for each squad, including the updated betting odds for both the final itself as well as which player will host the Most Valuable Player trophy at the end of the night.

Whether it was intentional or not, it's clear as day that the makeup of the teams was done to keep the veterans (Shaq), young guns (Kenny), and international stars (Charles) together. That should bring an added dose of intrigue to what may be one of the final chances the league has to breathe life into what's felt like a dying event for many years now.
If everyone involved competed with intent and the will to win, then going from roster to roster, you'd lean towards the experience of the three-headed monster which helped Team USA win gold at the Olympics over the summer in LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant. If the games go the route of a layup drill, though, you'd still take the older talents to be the most likely to care about the end result.
Pick: Team Shaq (+100)

With the festivities taking place at the home of the Golden State Warriors, and with Team Shaq already possessing the shortest odds to win it all, it's no wonder why Curry is the favorite to take the Kobe Bryant award.
Curry would become the 15th player to ever be named All-Star MVP on multiple occasions, and the first since Durant won his second back in 2019. His first All-Star MVP came just a few years ago at the 2022 event at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
Pick: Stephen Curry, Team Shaq (+500)
*All-Star MVP bets will be voided if a G-League or two-way player receives the award
