Los Angeles Clippers Vs. Phoenix Suns

Teams | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Clippers | +7.5 (-110) | +230 | O 226.5 (-110) |
Phoenix Suns | -7.5 (-110) | -280 | U 226.5 (-110) |
Pick: Los Angeles Clippers ATS +7.5
Give credit where credit is due to the Los Angeles Clippers for holding down the fort sans an injured Kawhi Leonard during this ongoing stretch. They're 6-4 SU this season without the superstar forward and winners of their last three, including a 26-point comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They're a perfect 2-0 SU this season against the Phoenix Suns by an average margin of 18 points. Leonard was available for both games, while Suns All-Star Kevin Durant missed the first.
This is just the third time this season that Los Angeles has entered as an underdog of at least seven points, splitting the prior two games both SU and ATS. Phoenix is only 5-9 at the Footprint Center when favored by seven points or more, so despite not having Leonard available, the Clippers have still shown enough fortitude as of late to at least cover this generous spread.
Orlando Magic Vs. Houston Rockets
Matchup Page: Orlando Magic vs. Houston Rockets, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Orlando Magic | -3 (-110) | -148 | O 215 (-112) |
Houston Rockets | +3 (-110) | +126 | U 215 (-108) |
Pick: Orlando Magic ML
All the Houston Rockets have to play for moving forward is pride after being mathematically eliminated from contention for the 10th seed and final play-in tournament spot. The Orlando Magic, on the other hand, are still in the running for the second seed in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Milwaukee Bucks by just a single game with the two sides set to face off two more times.
Houston has dropped five games in a row SU and four by double digits following an impressive 11-game winning streak. The air has been taken out of its tires with just four games remaining on the schedule, and now it must take on a Magic team that's won four of their last five games.
Orlando destroyed the Rockets by 30 points on opening night, and while a repeat of such dominance may be asking for too much, another win over Houston no matter the margin definitely isn't.
Sacramento Kings Vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Matchup Page: Sacramento Kings vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Sacramento Kings | -5.5 (-114) | +172 | O 226.5 (-110) |
Oklahoma City Thunder | +5.5 (-106) | -205 | U 226.5 (-110) |
Pick: OVER 226.5 Points
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is expected to make his return for the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing the last four games with an injured quad.
Even without their MVP-candidate point guard, the Thunder have still nailed the OVER in seven of their last games.
Their last two meetings with the Sacramento Kings on Dec. 11 and Valentine's Day have averaged a combined 245.5 points. Anything similar on Tuesday will easily hit the OVER once again, even with the Kings having gone UNDER in nine of their last 11.
