Brandon Ingram

NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Tonight: Ingram Excellent Value vs. Sixers

NBA daily fantasy incapsulates the worlds of fantasy sports and sports betting into one fun and riveting contest that can lead to massive gains for those who participate.

The DFS lineup will incorporate a standard starting lineup of a PG, SG, SF, PF, and C, along with an additional G, F, and UTIL slot at a salary of $50,000 which cannot be exceeded. Points are allocated based on the statistical production from each individual player that night.

Here's a look at our lineup for the NBA's slate of games on Friday, March 8, 2024:

NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup For March 8, 2024

  8. UTIL: Nicolas Batum, Philadelphia 76ers

    $4,300

PG: Cameron Payne, Philadelphia 76ers (Vs. Pelicans)

You're going to see a lot of players here competing in the New Orleans Pelicans versus Philadelphia 76ers matchup at the Wells Fargo Center. Starting with Cameron Payne, who has started in Tyrese Maxey's absence, the 29-year-old point guard just registered 31.25 fantasy points following a 16-point, five-rebound effort on Wednesday.

SG: Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans (At 76ers)

Finishing with just 23.75 fantasy points against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday was an anomaly for Brandon Ingram in what was the worst home loss in Raptors history. He recorded at least 42 fantasy points in three consecutive games prior, so use that as a base for what he's capable of during this stretch.

SF: Kelly Oubre Jr, Philadelphia 76ers (Vs. Pelicans)

Like Payne, Kelly Oubre Jr. has also capitalized on Maxey's injury. Still coming off the bench, though, Oubre Jr. managed to contribute a team-high 25 points on Wednesday for his second-straight game of 20 or more shot attempts.

PF: Naz Reid, Minnesota Timberwolves (At Cavaliers)

Naz Reid is already revered as one of the premier big men for a second unit across the Association, and with Karl-Anthony Towns out with a left meniscus tear, further opportunities to showcase his talent will be available. Reid had 29.5 fantasy points in a win over the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, with his 13 points being the third-most on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

C: Jarrett Allen, Cleveland Cavaliers (Vs. Timberwolves)

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Max Strus on Friday. Coming off a monster double-double of 18 points and 19 rebounds, Jarrett Allen's fantasy ceiling raises even higher with less to work with around him.

G: Donte DiVincenzo, New York Knicks (Vs. Magic)

Donte DiVincenzo has gone 20-straight games with two or more 3-pointers, and five-straight games with 30 or more fantasy points. His 14.3 points per game are by far his career best, with his offensive numbers continuing to grow as the New York Knicks miss several key pieces.

F: Jaime Jaquez Jr, Miami Heat (At Thunder)

We're trying to find solid value with our remaining dollars, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. is perhaps the best choice around this price point. His fantasy numbers have been steadily increasing over each of his last five games, with the highlight being a 13-point, six-rebound effort for 27 fantasy points on Thursday.

UTIL: Nicolas Batum, Philadelphia 76ers (Vs. Pelicans)

Once a fantasy basketball mainstay, now in the latter stage of his career, Nicolas Batum can still bring numbers to the table with a healthy amount of minutes. He's played in at least 30 minutes each of the last three games for Philadelphia.
