The ball was dropped on Friday by picking the Denver Nuggets over the Sacramento Kings moneyline, but much of that loss was attributed to Denver being on the second night of a back-to-back slate and sitting key players Michael Porter Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope due to injury.
The reigning champions haven't dropped consecutive games since early December, and they're expected to get the aforementioned players back in the lineup on Monday against a Milwaukee Bucks squad that will still be without the services of Khris Middleton due to an ankle injury.
Denver has already defeated the Bucks this season, albeit by a mere six points in its own backyard. Jamal Murray had his second-highest scoring performance of the 2023-24 campaign that game with 35 points on 13-of-22 shooting. With Middleton out and Milwaukee's defense still very much a work in progress, Murray could be in store for another potent offensive showing in the rematch.
Minnesota Timberwolves Vs. Los Angeles Clippers

It's an all-important matchup on Monday between the two powerhouse squads, as the Minnesota Timberwolves hold a minuscule half a game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers and two other teams for the top seed in the crowded Western Conference.
This is the second meeting of the season between the two sides, with Minnesota emerging victorious at the Target Center back on Jan. 14 with a narrow 109-105 win. The Clippers have only dropped a single game at Crypto.com Arena since Christmas Day and are 18-4 SU during that stretch.
The Timberwolves have a tendency to play down to their opposition, with three of their last four losses coming against the Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. With that being said, in big games against quality teams, Minnesota rises to the occasion. It may be an upset to some, but the Timberwolves taking this game against Los Angeles will be yet another feather in their cap.

The Atlanta Hawks are the gift that keeps on giving in the OVER/UNDER department, having reached the OVER in seven of their last 10 games, including six of nine in the month of February. Their 129.9 points per game over their last 10 outings are a full three points better than the second-ranked Golden State Warriors, as well.
Not to be outdone, the Chicago Bulls have hit the OVER in five consecutive games and four of their last five on the road.
The total hit 231 points on Boxing Day in a 118-113 win for the Bulls, and while the number is slightly higher this time around, considering how hot both teams have been offensively as of late, it's not crazy to imagine the total being blown out of the water on Monday.
