Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks
The Game: Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Phoenix Suns | +1.5 (-108) | +110 | O 245 (-110) |
Dallas Mavericks | -1.5 (-112) | -130 | U 245 (-110) |
Pick: Phoenix Suns ML
Even with Bradley Beal's status in limbo due to a tender hamstring, there's enough reason here to think the Phoenix Suns can take this game at the American Airlines Center.
The Suns blew out Dallas 132-109 on the road back on Jan. 24 thanks in large part to Devin Booker's 46-point outburst, although Kyrie Irving didn't suit up for the Dallas Mavericks. The road team has actually taken both meetings this season by double-digit margins.
The Mavericks are in the midst of a season-best six-game winning streak, but the Suns are no slouches themselves having won seven of their last nine. The spread being 1.5 points goes to show how close oddsmakers anticipate this game being. Phoenix has more value as the underdog, and we'll need to see if the break hindered Dallas' momentum at all.
Los Angeles Clippers Vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The Game: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Clippers | +1.5 (-114) | +100 | O 235.5 (-112) |
Oklahoma City Thunder | -1.5 (-106) | -118 | U 235.5 (-108) |
Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder -1.5
Only half a game separates the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder in the race for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, making this game all the more important for both sides to create breathing room with the season series locked at one apiece.
Unlike the Suns and Mavericks, the home team has held firm in their backyard for both matchups between Los Angeles and Oklahoma City, with the one similarity being both games were decided by 10 or more points.
The Thunder are tied for the most home victories in the West with 21 and have fallen only once at the Paycom Center in 2024, and that was to the lone team ahead of them in the standings (Minnesota Timberwolves).
San Antonio Spurs Vs. Sacramento Kings
The Game: San Antonio Spurs vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
San Antonio Spurs | +9 (-110) | +320 | O 241 (-108) |
Sacramento Kings | -9 (-110) | -405 | U 241 (-112) |
Pick: UNDER 241 Total Points
The San Antonio Spurs are averaging the fourth-fewest points across the Association in 11 games since Jan. 26 (107.9), which equates to the second-worst offense at 107.2 points per 100 possessions. As a result, the Spurs have gone UNDER in 10 of those games.
Thursday's total of 241 points was toppled the last time San Antonio took on the Sacramento Kings on Nov. 17 at 249 points. Sacramento has also hit the OVER in six of its last eight games, as well.
Even so, the Spurs are in clearly some sort of a drought offensively, and even against a generous Kings defense (18th in NBA), taking the UNDER feels right until San Antonio starts putting up numbers again.
