For all NBA games scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2024, here are three spread, moneyline, and OVER/UNDER you need to strongly consider making:

Miami Heat Vs. Sacramento Kings
The Game: Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Miami Heat | +6.5 (-110) | +225 | O 225 (-110) |
Sacramento Kings | -6.5 (-110) | -275 | U 225 (-110) |
Pick: Sacramento Kings ML
As a result of a scuffle which took place during a recent meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans, the Miami Heat will be without the services of Jimmy Butler, Nikola Jovic, and Thomas Bryant on Monday as they're all serving suspensions for the roles they played.
Both Terry Rozier (knee) and Tyler Herro (knee) are listed as questionable, as well. Should they compete, neither player would likely be at 100 percent, creating more breathing room for a Sacramento Kings team riding a three-game winning streak featuring impressive wins over the Los Angeles Clippers and reigning champion Denver Nuggets.
Miami defeated the Kings back on Jan. 31 by nine points, but Butler and Josh Richardson (shoulder) combined for 55 points that night and both players will be sidelined on Monday.
Detroit Pistons Vs. New York Knicks
The Game: Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Detroit Pistons | +11 (-108) | +480 | O 223 (-110) |
New York Knicks | -11 (-112) | -650 | U 223 (-110) |
Pick: Detroit Pistons ATS +11
The New York Knicks have won 13 games in a row against the visiting Detroit Pistons dating back to the 2019-20 campaign. We're betting the spread here as opposed to moneyline, though, so for a nine-win team like Detroit, it comes down to how confident you are in its ability to avoid getting blown out of the water at Madison Square Garden.
Surprisingly, the Pistons have been a competitive bunch as of late by covering the spread with a 13-5 record ATS over their last 18 outings, while the Knicks are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight games.
New York is just 1-5 SU over its last six games as it deals with numerous injuries to key players. Even a depleted Knicks roster can handle the lowly Pistons, but this game should be closer than what the spread is hinting.
Brooklyn Nets Vs. Memphis Grizzlies
The Game: Brooklyn Nets vs. Memphis Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Brooklyn Nets | -2 (-110) | -132 | O 215.5 (-110) |
Memphis Grizzlies | +2 (-110) | +112 | U 215.5 (-110) |
Pick: OVER 215.5 Points
There's nothing quite like betting the OVER/UNDER for two teams ranked 20th and dead last across the Association in offense, respectively, yet with a limited slate, it's what we have to work with on Monday.
The Brooklyn Nets' offense is drier than the Sahara desert over their last three games with a league-worst 89.2 points per 100 possessions that's 7.1 points worse than the 29th-ranked Portland Trail Blazers.
Let's take the OVER here against the Memphis Grizzlies, though, simply because both sides view this matchup as a means to get back on track. An average of 107 points per team is within reason, but if the UNDER hits, at least one team will see this as an opportunity squandered.
