Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Oklahoma City Thunder-1.5 (-110)-116O 222.5 (-110)
New Orleans Pelicans+1.5 (-110)-102U 222.5 (-110)

Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder ATS -1.5

No matter the margin, the New Orleans Pelicans have a strong track record covering the spread in 2023-24 as an underdog with a record of 16-9-1 ATS.

The cause for concern here is that the spread is a minuscule 1.5 points, so there isn't a ton of wiggle room on the scoreboard for either side.

The Oklahoma City Thunder went into the Smoothie King Center on Jan. 26 and blew out New Orleans by 24 points. They've covered the spread just once in their last six games, mind you, but a majority of those spreads were double digits and difficult to reach even for the most dominant of squads.

Golden State Warriors Vs. Miami Heat

TeamSpreadMoneyTotal
Golden State Warriors-1.5 (-114)-126O 218.5 (-110)
Miami Heat +1.5 (-106)+108U 218.5 (-110)

Pick: Golden State Warriors ML

The Miami Heat are just 1-6 SU over their last seven games when entering as an underdog, with the lone win coming by three points against the depleted Cleveland Cavaliers on March 20.

Going on the road to South Beach, the Golden State Warriors are in desperate need of a win as the Houston Rockets' absurd winning streak has propelled them to within half a game of the Warriors for the final play-in spot in the West.

This pick is more out of necessity than anything historic involving this pairing. The tight spread and moneyline essentially have this game being a tossup, so picking the more desperate side in Golden State feels right as Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro continue to be sidelined for Miami.

Dallas Mavericks Vs. Sacramento Kings

TeamSpreadMoneyTotal
Dallas Mavericks+1.5 (-112)-102O 233 (-110)
Sacramento Kings-1.5 (-108)-116U 233 (-110)

Pick: OVER 233 Total Points

Trends are trends for a reason, and the numbers are telling us that the UNDER will connect at the Golden 1 Center. However, we're going in a different direction with this bet.

The total has gone UNDER in six of the Dallas Mavericks' last seven games, and eight of the Sacramento Kings' last nine outings, to be fair.

Perhaps the total props are being set too high, as both teams have offenses in the top half of the Association in March at fifth and 12th, respectively. The prior two meetings this season between Dallas and Sacramento have exceeded 233 points, though, so let's hope that continues on Tuesday.
