Golden State Warriors Vs. Houston Rockets

Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Golden State Warriors | -3.5 (-110) | -164 | O 228 (-110) |
Houston Rockets | +3.5 (-110) | +138 | U 228 (-110 |
Pick: Rockets ML
With three games separating the teams in the Western Conference standings, and the Golden State Warriors already clinching the tiebreaker, the only glimmer of hope the Houston Rockets have of sneaking into the play-in tournament only comes with a victory tonight.
Houston has dropped two in a row SU after engaging in an 11-game winning streak, and is just 3-5 SU on the season when underdogs of four or more points at the Toyota Center. This includes a 106-95 loss to the Warriors on Oct. 29.
The Rockets are going to treat this game like their season depends on it, because it absolutely does. Golden State has won five in a row, but Houston is desperate and knows it needs a victory here, while the Warriors will still be in good shape regardless of the result.
Sacramento Kings vs. New York Knicks
Matchup Page: Sacramento Kings vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Sacramento Kings | +3.5 (-112) | +130 | O 214 (-108) |
New York Knicks | -3.5 (-108) | -154 | U 214 (-112) |
Pick: Kings ATS +3.5
The New York Knicks took a shot to the gut when the news came out that All-Star big man Julius Randle has elected to undergo season-ending surgery on his shoulder. With O.G. Anunoby's health still a question mark and the team in the midst of a three-game losing skid, it's been a demoralizing stretch for Knicks fans no matter how you slice it.
The visiting Sacramento Kings have a winning record on the road against the spread when underdogs of at least 3.5 points, with victories both SU and ATS under that criteria in three of their last four tries. They also just defeated the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday by 14 points, albeit without Kawhi Leonard in the lineup.
New York has beasted at Madison Square Garden with a 16-11 record ATS at home for the season, but most of its more recent success has come against some of the worst teams in the Association. Sacramento doesn't fall under that category, and should be expected to both cover and pull off the upset win SU.
Philadelphia 76ers Vs. Miami Heat
Matchup Page: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Miami Heat, 7 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Philadelphia 76ers | +1.5 (-106) | +106 | O 210 (-110) |
Miami Heat | -1.5 (-114) | -124 | U 210 (-110) |
Pick: OVER 210 Total Points
The OVER/UNDER market has been difficult to find success in with recent expert picks, so here's hoping this matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat will spur some scoring.
Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and Tyrese Maxey are all questionable to compete, and any combination of absences from the core three will hurt a Philadelphia squad whose total has gone UNDER in 10 of its last 14 games.
A total of 210 points isn't insurmountable, and considering how vital this game is for the Sixers considering they're trailing the Heat by 1.5 games in the win-loss column, they'll look to bring their best stuff to South Beach to reach the OVER against a Miami team that's finally getting bodies back.
