Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans are favorites vs the Golden State Warriors.

Warriors Look To Continue Dominance Over Pelicans

The Golden State Warriors are just 13-21 SU and ATS on the road this season. The Warriors will try to pick up a road win against a team they have historically fared well against on the road when they visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.

Sportsbook Odds Analysis

The Pelicans opened as a 1.5-point favorite but have since been bet up to New Orleans -3. The total has also moved up from its opener of 236.5 points as bets on the OVER bumped the line up to 237 points. The UNDER is 4-1 in the last five meetings between Golden State and New Orleans.

Golden State News & Notes

Stephen Curry went 7-for-17 from three-point range and scored 30 points in Golden State’s 113-87 road win over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night. The win helped the Warriors snap out of a 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS slump over their previous five games, bringing their record to 32-32 SU and 30-34 ATS on the season in the process. Curry finished up the month of April last Thursday averaging 46.6 percent from three-point range and scoring 37.3 points per game.

The Warriors enter Monday’s action sitting in ninth place in the Western Conference standings with a half-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs in 10th place and a three-game lead over the Pelicans in 11th. A hot shooter like Curry will make the Warriors a very dangerous team in this year’s play-in round should Golden State hold on to its spot.

New Orleans News & Notes

Zion Williamson scored 37 points with nine rebounds and eight assists in New Orleans’ 140-136 overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night. The Pelicans are now 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS over their last six games since going 0-4 SU and ATS over their previous four games.

New Orleans is 14-13 SU and 15-12 ATS over its last 27 games, but a 15-22 SU and ATS start to the season has the Pelicans on the outside looking in for a top-10 spot in the Western Conference.

Three of the Pelicans’ last eight games come against the Warriors, though, so New Orleans does have some control over its own destiny starting with this back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday at home.

Betting Pick: UNDER 237

Both of these offenses are more than capable of putting up big numbers, but 237 points is a high number to hit. This game should have a playoff-like feel to it and stay under the posted total.
