Kevin Durant shook up the NBA universe by signing with the Warriors instead of inking a one-year deal with the Thunder like most expected. The total for this prop, 26, says a lot about what sportsbooks like Sportsbook think will happen when you stick Curry and Durant on the same floor. There are only so many shots to go around but there is definitely a precedent to recognize here. Since the 2009-10 season, Durant has only averaged below 27.7 points in one season – a season he only played 27 games and still averaged 25.4 per game.
Something else to recognize, Durant is used to playing with high-volume shooters. Russell Westbrook put up an average of 18.1 shots a game this year compared to the 19.2 KD-Trey put up – he will get his shots, don’t worry.

In the same court as the last prop but with a key difference: Durant doesn’t have to get to a certain number to win you this bet, he just needs to outscore Curry. At -150 I think it’s almost a lock to happen. Even though he outscored Durant last season, Curry will have to – if he wants to win – be more of a playmaking teammate than a scorer.
Because of the amount of shooting talent on the floor, Durant is going to have more space than he has ever had. It’s not unrealistic to think that KD could come close to or break his previous career high of 32.0 points per game
