Thunder set to play host to Grizzlies

The Oklahoma City Thunder have just two ATS victories in their last eight games against the Memphis Grizzlies as those two Western Conference teams meet in NBA betting action on Friday night.

Oklahoma City, though, won 86-77 and covered an 8-point spread at home at the books in their most recent game against Memphis on February 3 in an UNDER result on the NBA odds. The UNDER has paid out in four of the last six games between the teams.

The visitors opened this morning as 6.5-point underdogs in this one at most sportsbooks tracked at Odds Shark (including Sportsbook), while the total was hovering around 192 at Sportsbook and other shops.

According to new Power Rankings at Odds Shark, it's the No. 5-rated Thunder and the No. 12-rated Grizzlies in this matchup. Predictive computer formulas point to a 97-91 win for the Thunder on Friday.



Memphis won its last outing, a 108-103 result against the Lakers on February 26. The Grizzlies failed to cover in that game as a 11.5-point favorite, while the 211 combined points took the game OVER the total. Memphis earned a 108-103 victory over Los Angeles on Wednesday, getting 18 points from Courtney Lee at FedExForum.

Oklahoma City lost its last outing, a 114-104 result against the Cavaliers on February 26. The Thunder failed to cover in that game as a 15-point favorite, while the 218 combined points took the game OVER the total. The Thunder got a 28-point performance from Kevin Durant, who added 10 rebounds, but Cleveland still ran past Oklahoma City 114-104 on Wednesday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

How They Match Up:
In rebounding, the battle of the boards features Oklahoma City's No. 8-rated squad against Memphis's No. 18-rated roster. When it comes to long-range shooting, Oklahoma City rates No. 17 in the league with 7.45 per game, while their foes tonight rank No. 30 with 4.86 per outing.
