Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Los Angeles Lakers ATS -7.5

One team can't seem to score, while the other can't stop the opposition from scoring. Something has to give.

The Lakers' worst loss of the 2023-24 campaign came against Philadelphia on Nov. 27 when they fell by 47 points, but three of the Sixers' leading scorers that night won't be around on Friday with Joel Embiid injured and both Patrick Beverley and Marcus Morris no longer with the team.

Los Angeles has won seven-straight games against Eastern Conference foes, and with the Sixers scoring just 106.8 points per 100 possessions over their last 10 games (26th overall), in comparison to the Lakers ranking second during that same stretch, even a leaky defense (25th over last 10 games) should be enough to keep Philly away from covering the 7.5-point spread.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Anthony Davis UNDER 24.5 Points

The Sixers are severely lacking in frontcourt depth, with Mo Bamba and Paul Reed serving as the only bigs available to contend with Anthony Davis down low.

A 24.5-point total would seem like an easy OVER with Philadelphia not having much available to even throw at Davis, yet the All-Star's recent box scores has me weary he'll be able to make it happen.

Five different players on the Lakers are averaging more than 17 points over the last eight games, so their offensive attack has been incredibly diverse and widespread. As a result, Davis has only scored 25 points or more just once during this run.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Rui Hachimura OVER 14.5 Points

The aforementioned diverse Lakers' offense has benefited Rui Hachimura immensely, though, as his scoring numbers have been popping as of late.

Hachimura is averaging 17.1 points on 12.1 shot attempts while shooting 60.8 percent from the field and 46.8 percent from the perimeter since March 2. He's hit the OVER on 14.5 points five times in his last eight games, as well.

Having +102 odds for this prop is screaming for bettors to place a wager.
