This game marks just the sixth time this season that the Pelicans have entered a matchup on their home floor as an underdog of two points or more. They're 3-2 in those outings, and 4-1 against the spread.
Before falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, New Orleans had won nine of its previous 11 games to move into range of home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs. Brandon Ingram has also missed the last three games due to a knee issue, but the Pelicans have still gone 2-1 SU during that limited stretch.
The Bucks are no slouches themselves, though, having covered as two-point favorites or better on the road four of their last five chances, with the lone exception being a one-point defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers. Milwaukee has more bullets in its chamber to contend with New Orleans, and with a narrow spread, it's going to come down to who makes the big plays down the stretch.

A 27-point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday looks great on paper, but Damian Lillard only shot 9-of-29 from the field to get there, so there's absolutely room for improvement for the prolific scorer.
Lillard has finished with 30 or more points on five separate occasions in the month of March, with three of those box scores coming in the last five games alone.
He had 26 points in a 24-point win over New Orleans on Jan. 27, as well, so we've already seen Lillard light up the opposition once already in 2023-24. It can certainly happen again, and we're banking on it.
