NBA Same-Game Parlay For Feb. 23: Bucks vs. Timberwolves

The Milwaukee Bucks are 3-7 under new head coach Doc Rivers, and in order to kick the final stretch of the NBA regular season off in a positive manner, they'll need to knock off the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference on the road when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Let's put together a same-game parlay for this matchup and win some money.

Last Same-Game Parlay Results: Lakers Vs. Warriors (Feb. 22, 2024)

Klay Thompson OVER 15.5 Points-1153 PointsL
Anthony Davis OVER 28.5 Points-11527 PointsL

Thursday's performance justified Steve Kerr moving Klay Thompson to the second unit, despite Thompson's 35-point outburst right before the All-Star break off the bench. The Golden State Warriors handled the Los Angeles Lakers in convincing fashion with LeBron James absent, and Anthony Davis was just another bucket away from hitting the OVER.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Minnesota Timberwolves ATS -4

The Timberwolves embrace the challenge of battling the best the league has to offer, going 23-11 this season (first overall) against teams with a record over the .500 mark. This was evident on Feb. 8 when they blew out the Bucks on the road at Fiserv Forum, 129-105.

Their defense is also significantly better on their home floor as they allow just 103.5 points per 100 possessions at the Target Center as opposed to 111.9 points per 100 possessions when away.

The Bucks have covered just a single time across their last 11 road games, while Minnesota is 5-1 ATS in its last six. Simply put, it's not looking good for Milwaukee.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Anthony Edwards OVER 27.5 Points

Milwaukee is incredibly weak on the perimeter defensively, and that will ring especially true on Friday as Khris Middleton continues to miss time with an ankle injury.

Anthony Edwards will undoubtedly take this encounter far more seriously than he did All-Star Weekend. He's averaging 28.4 points on 52.3 percent shooting from the field and 42.9 percent from behind the arc over his last 10 games, and has hit the OVER of Friday's total of 27.5 points in four of his last six appearances.

The 22-year-old had 26 points versus the Bucks just a few weeks ago, so dropping at least that plus a touch more is within reason for bettors.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Damian Lillard OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made

Coming off a second-straight 3-Point Contest win and an All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, whatever momentum one can possibly conjure up from that has to be on Damian Lillard's side on Friday.

Lillard didn't dress against the Timberwolves on Feb. 12, so there's no history there with the Bucks to determine how successful he can be from deep against the league's No. 1-ranked defense. He has, however, still converted at least three makes from long range in 26 of his 51 total appearances on the season, which would give him the OVER here.

Milwaukee will need every last drop of offense to contend with Minnesota's ferocious defensive intensity, so expect Lillard to get more than enough looks from 3-point range to help the Bucks keep pace.
