NBA Same-Game Parlay For March 1: Mavericks vs. Celtics

The red-hot Boston Celtics will look to extend their winning streak to 10 games on Friday night when Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic, and the Dallas Mavericks pay a visit to the TD Garden.

Let's put together a same-game parlay for this matchup and win some money.

Dallas Mavericks Vs. Boston Celtics Same-Game Parlay (March 1, 2024)

The Game: Dallas Mavericks vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Boston Celtics -10 ATS-114
Luka Doncic OVER 32.5 Points-113

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Boston Celtics ATS -10

A healthy Luka Doncic for this game is paramount for Dallas' chances of survival against the powerhouse Celtics, with the five-time All-Star currently listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain and broken nose. The Mavericks are just 3-5 without Doncic this season should he sit.

Boston are 4-0-1 in its last five games against the spread, as well, while Dallas is 8-2 in that department over its last 10. When the Mavericks lose games, though, they tend to lose by quite a bit. With the exception being a two-point loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Feb. 27, Dallas' three prior defeats came by an average margin of just over 22 points.

The Celtics took the Jan. 22 meeting with the Mavericks by nine points, 119-110, which is just under the 10-point spread set by oddsmakers for Friday. They're steamrolling their way through everyone lately with little remorse, and Dallas appears to be next on the chopping block.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Luka Doncic OVER 32.5 Points

Considering the magnitude of this game, with the Western Conference playoff picture as tight as it is and playing the Celtics presenting a gauge to how real Dallas' championship aspirations should/could be, it's hard to imagine Doncic missing this one if he has any say in the matter.

A total of 32.5 points would seem insurmountable for roughly 97 percent of the league, but for Doncic, that's just another day at the office. He currently leads the NBA in scoring with 34.4 points per game, and has notched at least 30 points in each of his last four games.

The entire same-game parlay crumbles if Doncic is ruled out, but for all of the optimists out there, let's say he suits up and brings a steady dose of offense which we're all accustomed to.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Kristaps Porzingis To Record 6+ Rebounds

A 7-foot-2 big like Kristaps Porzingis should be able to sleepwalk his way to at least six rebounds per game, but that's actually not the case.

Porzingis is averaging just 6.9 boards through 43 appearances, which is his lowest number since his third season with the New York Knicks in 20217-18. He's also failed to grab six or more rebounds in 13 of those 43 games, three of which have come in his last four outings.

Porzingis did just grab 12 rebounds in an 18-point win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, though, and Dallas does give up the fourth-most rebounds to opponents overall at 45.5.
