Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Denver Nuggets ML

With the status of both Anthony Davis and LeBron James in question for tonight's festivities, the Nuggets should rightfully be considered the favorites against a squad they not only defeated in the season opener, but also rather convincingly in a clean sweep during last year's playoffs.

Both Lakers stars are expected to suit up, mind you, but even if they're available, Denver has had Los Angeles' number in recent memory and should confidently be picked to notch a third-straight victory.

The Lakers last defeated the Nuggets on Dec. 16, 2022. They're meetings are often competitive with the final scores separated by single digits, and this should be another close one. But until Los Angeles figures out the formula to actually defeat Denver, it will be a risky pick to go purple and gold.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Nikola Jokic To Score OVER 26.5 Points

The current favorite to win a third career Most Valuable Player award is averaging 26.8 points on 66.2 percent shooting across 16 appearances since the start of the new year.

For the sake of the 26.5-point mark set for Thursday, Jokic has exceeded that number in 10 of those contests and six of his last eight games.

Even an elite, all-world defender in Davis hasn't managed to slow down Jokic, who may moonwalk his way to big offensive numbers no matter what Los Angeles throws at him.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Jamal Murray To Hit 2+ 3-Pointers

No other team in the Association gives up more 3-pointers to opposing sides than the Lakers, who are tied with the Chicago Bulls for the worst mark overall at 14.3 3-pointers allowed. The 38.1 3-point attempts to opponents is also the third-worst number across the league.

Jamal Murray is converting 2.1 of his 5.6 attempts on the season for an average clip of just over 37 percent. He's connected on 15 shots from behind the arc over his last five games, including six against the Philadelphia 76ers on Jan. 27 alone.

Murray made three against the Lakers on Oct. 24 and should be counted on for at least two this time around.
