The Morning Dunk is an uplifting, jolt-inducing start to your day that offers top-notch NBA news and highlights from the night prior.
That is, unless you're a Pistons supporter. Then it's simply a stark reminder of the harsh reality that is your fandom.
Pistons' Skid Hits 27
The Detroit Pistons have mastered the art of losing basketball games, and following yet another defeat on Tuesday night, the history books will forever remember their efforts.
Falling 118-112 to the visiting Brooklyn Nets at Little Caesars Arena, the Pistons now single-handedly own the NBA record for the longest losing streak across a single regular season at a whopping 27 games.

The 2014-15, 2015-16 Philadelphia 76ers still possess the record for the most consecutive losses across two seasons at 28 games, which the Pistons can tie on Thursday against the Boston Celtics.
Losing by six points, Detroit did manage to cover the spread as the 6.5-point underdogs against Brooklyn, which is just the second time in 10 games it managed to do so.
Grizzlies Reinvigorated With Ja

The Memphis Grizzlies continue to roll following the return of Ja Morant to the lineup, having now won four-straight games after edging out the New Orleans Pelicans 116-115 in overtime on Tuesday.
Morant led all scorers with 31 points on 12-of-24 shooting, adding seven assists and four rebounds in the process.
