Terps Hope to Rebound Versus Wolverines

Entering Sunday off back-to-back losses, the Maryland Terrapins will look to get back in the win column when they welcome the Michigan Wolverines to Xfinity Center Sunday afternoon.

Shark Bites
  • UNDER is 4-0 in Maryland’s previous four home games.
  • OVER is 14-4 in Michigan’s last 18 games versus the Big Ten.
  • Michigan is 1-4 ATS in its last five road games vs. a team with a winning home record.

Maryland has just five losses this season, but one of those came courtesy of these Wolverines back on January 12 in a 70-67 loss at Michigan. Heading into Sunday’s game, Maryland has posted losses to the Wisconsin Badgers (70-57) and at the Minnesota Golden Gophers (68-63) in their last two outings. The win on Thursday was the Gophers’ first conference win of the season and they sit second-last in the standings with a 1-13 record.

The Wolverines sit sixth in the competitive Big Ten and take a 9-5 record in conference play into Sunday’s contest. They lost 76-66 at the Ohio State Buckeyes in their last game, but will look for a similar performance against the Terps to their win back in January.

Michigan has been slumping at the betting window of late, however, as they’ve gone just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10. Both teams will look to bounce back off of difficult losses, so this could very well be a tight contest out in the Big Ten.
