Badgers battle Nittany Lions in Week 14 odds

It's a bit of a long-shot but the Wisconsin Badgers still have a chance to play in a BCS bowl. Wisconsin is 9-2 and riding a six-game winning streak, after beating Minnesota Saturday. With a little help from elsewhere the Badgers could play in January in Pasadena, or Miami. 

The Badgers will try to put the finishing touches on a fine regular season when they host the Penn State Nittany Lions Saturday at Camp Randall.

Since losing by a touchdown at Ohio State back in September Wisconsin had covered the spread five games in a row, until coming up a little short against the Gophers Saturday as 16-point favorites.

On the other side of this match-up Penn State just lost at home in overtime to Nebraska, and is now 4-7 ATS on the season.

As of early this week the Badgers, who have lost three of the last four games in this series, were favored by 24 points over the Lions.

The Badgers are 9-2 so far on the season, and 9-2 ATS vs. the number. The Nittany Lions, meanwhile, are 6-5 and 4-7 ATS. Over under bettors have seen Wisconsin go 3-8 and the Nittany Lions go 6-5 on the totals.

Penn State lost its last outing, a 23-20 result against Nebraska on November 23. Penn State failed to cover in that game as a 1-point favorite, while the 43 combined points took the game UNDER the total. James White ran through the Minnesota defense for 125 yards in Wisconsin's last game, handing the Golden Gophers a 20-7 setback on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium.
