Rejoice, college football fans. The long-awaited Wasabi Fenway Bowl is finally happening.
After two consecutive years of COVID interruptions, the first-ever college football game at Fenway Park will take place with the Cincinnati Bearcats (9-3 SU, 3-8-1 ATS) taking on the Louisville Cardinals (7-5, 7-5) on Saturday, December 17.
2022 Fenway Bowl Odds
The Bearcats opened as 1-point favorites, but the line flipped to Louisville as small chalk following the departure of several Cincinnati coaches and players. The total was set at a lowly 44.5 after the Cardinals went UNDER in five of their last six games and Cincinnati stayed UNDER in six of its final eight.

What’s Special About The Fenway Bowl?
How many college football players can say they’ve played at a baseball stadium? Not many.
Saturday’s game at the legendary Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, will mark just the fourth active bowl game staged in a baseball stadium, alongside the Pinstripe Bowl (Yankee Stadium), the Holiday Bowl (Petco Park) and Guaranteed Rate Bowl (Chase Field).
The Fenway Bowl is notable because, as we mentioned before, it’s been in the works for multiple years. The first game was originally scheduled for the 2020-21 bowl season, but the COVID-19 pandemic wiped that out.
In 2021-22, the curse continued, as the game was canceled again due to COVID. This time it was Virginia’s roster that had too many COVID positives, preventing the team from safely competing against SMU.
But, it looks like the third time’s the charm, as Cincinnati and Louisville will be ready to go on December 17.
