My favorite Prop Bets
The first prop bet I like is a fumble for the first turnover of the game at +130. Since the 1998 season, there has been at least one turnover in every national championship game. The two quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa and Trevor Lawrence, combined for just eight interceptions this season with Alabama averaging 0.5 interceptions per game and Clemson averaging 0.6 picks per game. The Crimson Tide average 0.8 fumbles per game and the Tigers average 1.4 fumbles per game.
My second prop bet I like is Alabama as the first team to 10 points at -165. The Crimson Tide led the league in points scored in the first quarter this season with 16.4 and averaged the most first-half points at 31.5. Clemson, on the other hand, scored the second-most second-half points in the nation at 21.6, and averaged just 7.5 points in the first quarter, making it a bit of a slow starter compared to Alabama.
