Averaging nearly 39 points per game will hide just about any deficiency on defense, but there’s cause for concern with Oregon, which has allowed 64 points over its past two games. The Ducks have surrendered at least one touchdown in five straight quarters and needed a late fourth-quarter stop to hold off a UCLA team that racked up 462 total yards in defeat.

A 2016 upset triumph over the rival Ducks must feel like a distant memory to the Beavers, who have lost the subsequent three meetings by a combined score of 148-35. Still, Oregon State will come into the 2020 edition with at least a little momentum after rolling up more than 200 rushing yards on 30 attempts in a 31-27 victory over the Golden Bears.
The catalyst of Oregon State’s first win of the season was do-it-all quarterback Tristan Gebbia, who struggled to open the season but was a force last weekend. Gebbia had passing, rushing and receiving touchdowns in the win (becoming just the 11th Pac-12 player since 1996 to achieve the feat); he’s a sneaky daily fantasy value play this week against that porous Oregon defense.
