NHL anytime goal scorer picks. Nathan MacKinnon Keeps Scoring

Anytime Goal Scorer Pick: MacKinnon Keeps Streak Alive

We've been in a habit lately of taking some of the best goalscorers in the league for our NHL anytime goal scorer picks. And that strategy has done pretty well for us. So let's keep it rolling, no?

Here are three anytime goal scorer picks for games on February 6th.

David Pastrnak (-125)
The Game: Calgary Flames vs Boston Bruins, 7 PM ET

Pasta has three goals in his last two games. Recently, he's converting a third of his shots to goals. And now that we've passed the All-Star Break we enter Pastrnak's most-productive time of year.

Pre-ASG break he's scoring 0.50 goals per game over his career. Post-ASG Break he's scoring 0.55 goals per game.

Now he takes on a Flames side that's leaking goals with 3.2 goals against per game in their last five. Take out that shutout vs. the Blackhawks (who have no players to speak of) and that's 4.00 goals against in four of their last five games.

Brock Boeser (+195)
The Game: Vancouver Canucks vs Carolina Hurricanes, 7 PM ET

Boeser has been quiet of late, only scoring three goals in his last seven games. All three were against Columbus before the All-Star Break. I get that he's shooting at a super-high 22.4% on the year and that was bound to slow down, but these things don't usually happen randomly in the season.

Last time these two teams faced off the game ended 4-3 for Vancouver. I bet Boeser gets his chances and buries at least one.

Nathan MacKinnon (-130)
The Game: Colorado Avalanche vs New Jersey Devils, 7:30 PM ET

MacKinnon is on a 14-game point streak and five-game goal streak. Why should we not back a guy who's scoring like MacKinnon is? Because he's playing the Devils? Pffft, please.

The New Jersey Devils stink. They've allowed an average of five goals in their last four games. What makes you think they'll stop the "MacK Truck"? (They won't).
