NHL Playoffs Player Props Today: Rangers vs Panthers Game 4

The Florida Panthers will look to stay alive in the NHL Eastern Conference Finals as the New York Rangers hold a 2-1 series lead with Game 4 at Amerant Bank Arena in Florida tonight.

Here are three standout player props for tonight's game.

Kris Kreider Player Prop Today: OVER 0.5 Points (-125)

The Panthers have to start slowing down the Rangers' second line of Panarin-Trocheck-Lafreniere. Trocjeck and Laf already have six points in three games. That's going to leave space for guys like Kris Kreider who hasn't yet scored in this series.

In his career, Kreider has scored 28 points in 32 against Florida or 0.89 points per game. Basically nine out of ten games. Prior to this Eastern Conference Finals, Kreider had hit O0.5 points in 2 of three games against the Cats. He is due to get on the end of something

On the goal-scoring front, Kreider has put up a cumulative 1.28 ixG against the Panthers. He should have at least a goal to his name in this series. He's creating enough to get on the score sheet.

Matthew Tkachuk Player Prop Today: OVER 0.5 Assists (+100)

It's very hard to keep Matthew Tkachuk off the scoresheet. It's only happened four times in these playoffs. Of his 18 points in this postseason, 13 have been helpers. He's got at least one assist in three of his last four games. Including two in Game 3.

In his career, Tkachuk has 12 apples in 14 games against the Rangers. He's good (on average) for an assist per game against the Rangers.

Alexis Lafreniere Player Prop Today: OVER 2.5 SOG (+105)

I get that Laf isn't about to hit six shots on the net again in Game 4, but we're looking at a player that has continuously found space against the Panthers. He's also hit O2.5 SOG five times in his last eight games.

I know Lafreniere had a few rough years in the league, but the 22yo has really stood out in 23-24. Specifically, in the shot department. He was averaging 1.7 last season and averaged  2.7 this season!

In these playoffs, he's doing the same with an average of 2.7 shots on net per game.
