Same-Game Parlay Feb. 27 Golden Knights vs Maple Leafs: Toronto Wins Fifth Straight At Home

Today's NHL same-game parlay centers on the Vegas Golden Knights vs Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena on February 27. This is a revenge match for Vegas who want to make up for a tough 7-3 loss at home to these Leafs a few days ago.

Sadly, for them, I don't think they've got enough to get the win and satisfy their lust for revenge.

Pick 1: Toronto Maple Leafs ML

Toronto holds a respectable 15-12SU record at home, but they've won four straight in T-dot with an impressive +12 goal differential. They're on another level on home ice right now.

Vegas has been better on the road since a seven-game losing streak in December and January. But they haven't won since the loss of both Jack Eichel and Mark Stone. Without those two stars, I doubt they've got enough to beat the Leafs. (Assuming Toronto does in fact play their A-game.)

Pick 2: Auston Matthews Anytime Goal

He's got a hat-trick in his last two home games and has scored 53% of his goals on home ice with 28 in 26 games. In his career against Vegas, he's scored nine goals in 10 games. It would be wild to think Matthews won't score tonight.

You can follow along as we track Auston Matthews' quest to 70+ goals this year

Pick 3: Samsonov O24.5 Saves

Vegas averages 31.2 shots on net when on the road. Even if we assume Samsonov puts up an average performance (0.883SV%), he's still stopping nearly 28 shots. Well above the rate we need to hit our prop.

Samsonov is averaging 24 saves per start. But there are some low-shooting games in that sample that are dragging that average down. Like a 4-1 win against St. Louis recently where he only faced 15 shots. Tonight won't be a repeat of that low-shooting outing. He's going to face some rubber against the Knights.
