Same-Game Parlay Feb. 29 Golden Knights vs. Bruins: McAvoy Hits Shot Prop

The big game in the NHL tonight is the Vegas Golden Knights against the Boston Bruins. And that's where we'll make our same-game parlay.

Here's a three-leg parlay for you to consider:

NHL Same-Game Parlay: Vegas Golden Knights vs Boston Bruins

Pick 1: Boston Bruins ML

Look, I get that the Bruins are bad right now. Over their last 10 games, they've gone 3-2-5. But on the year, Boston is 18-7-5 at home. This is still an excellent home side that's relatively free from injury. Something that can't be said of Vegas.

The Knights are without stars Mark Stone and Jack Eichel. I get the Knights pounded the Leafs, but let's be honest, those Leafs are as fragile as...well...leaves. Boston does not have that same problem.

Pick 2: OVER 1.5 P1

Looking at our NHL first-period betting report, both of these squads have been hitting the OVER in the first 20 a lot recently. The Bruins hold a 7-3 (70%) record in their last 10 and Vegas is 8-2 (80%).

Over the year, both rank near the bottom of our report for hitting the UNDER at nearly 50%. BUT in the context of this game (Boston at home and Vegas on the road), that rate changes in our favor. Boston is 63% vs the OVER at home and Veags is 56% on the road.

Pick 3: McAvoy OVER 1.5 SOG

Vegas allows an average of 8.6 shots per game from defensemen. Which is the eighth-highest average in the league. McAvoy is averaging just under 2.00 shots per game on the season (1.92) and is responsible for nearly a quarter of all of the Bruins' shots from defensemen.

With McAvoy hitting O1.5 shots on net 60% this season, I've no doubt he will do so again.
