We're going with the Florida Panthers vs New Jersey Devils for today's NHL same-game parlay.
This will be Travis Green's first game as the Devils' new head coach after Lindy Ruff was relieved of his duties earlier this week. And I think that new coach bounce is going to feature heavily in this game.

Pick 1: Devils ML
I know the Devils are home dogs tonight, but the new coach bounce is too much for me to ignore. This year six teams have made a coaching change, and in that new coache's first game, teams are 5-1SU. The only loss was thanks to the Ottawa Senators who were playing on the road. The Sens would win their first home game with new coach Jacques Martin by the way.
Don't forget, Florida is on the second leg of a back-to-back. That's why I'm siding with Devils.
Pick 2: UNDER 6.5 Goals
The Panthers have been great against the UNDER this year. When the line is set to 6.5 goals, they've gone UNDER 65%. When the line is 6.5 goals and the Cats are away that hit rate is 62%. Tonight, the line is 6.5, Florida is away and they're on the second leg of a back-to-back. In that very specific situation, Florida is 3-0 against the UNDER.
Green's first job will be to stabilize his team as they transition to his system. And that means strong defensive play. Combine that with Florida's ability to keep the score low and I like this bet.
Pick 3: Jack Hughes U4.5 SOG
Florida doesn't allow a ton of shots at 27.9 per game. When on the road that number drops to 27.4. Against the Panthers, Hughes is averaging 3.1 shots in his career and has only hit O4.5 shots once in his last five against Florida. I'm taking the UNDER here.
