Bayern can tie Borussia in title race with win over Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin may well need to pull a rabbit out of the hat on Saturday afternoon when they travel to take on Bayern Munich. Hertha of course beat the defending Bundesliga champions back in September but now that the giants have found their rhythm, this match could have a different feel to it, as the Munich club looks to go level on points with rival Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table – temporarily, at least.

Bayern is edging closer to top spot

There is no doubt that over the last few weeks Bayern Munich has been approaching fifth gear and looks set to reach peak form at precisely the right point in the campaign. Bayern was in Champions League action in midweek away to Liverpool, and came away with a credible goalless draw.
