Borussia Dortmund looks to maintain lead at top of Bundesliga table

All eyes are now on Borussia Dortmund ahead of the 15th round of Germany’s Bundesliga, as the current table toppers host Werder Bremen looking to put another three points in the bank. Werder has been looking in good nick over recent weeks and is in the top half of the table, while a win this weekend could take them as high as fifth, depending on how other results go.

Dortmund out to make it six wins in a row

Right now, there is no side in Germany that can match the strength and consistency of Borussia Dortmund. Lucien Favre’s side has built up an impressive seven-point lead at the top of the table and is the only undefeated side remaining in the division.

Borussia has won 11 of its 14 games so far and is scoring well over 2.5 goals per game. They can come into this latest league clash absolutely brimming with confidence.

Werder Bremen made a strong start to the season, but its form has dipped alarmingly over recent weeks. Despite four losses in their last six outings, they are still in eighth place in the table, but will be looking to get back to winning ways in the most trying of circumstances on Saturday.
