UFC 182 Betting: Jones vs. Cormier Odds

In what could prove to be the biggest fight of 2015, pound-for-pound No. 1 fighter and UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones will put his title on the line on January 3 against the undefeated Daniel Cormier.

Action on the entire UFC 182 fight card is available at Sportsbook, including 29 different prop bet options on the main event. Jones is currently handicapped as the UFC 182 odds -170 favorite, while action on the Cormier upset will currently pay +150.

This fight is too close to call, either Cormier will dominate with his wrestling or Jones will dominate with his distance and striking. However you see it going down, better value is available in the prop options. Cormier by unanimous decision will currently pay UFC 182 odds of +500, while Jones by split decision will pay as much as +621. Fight goes to a decision is even-money less juice at -115.

In the UFC 182 co-main event Miles Jury will look to enter the elite of the UFC Lightweight division with a win over Donald Cerrone. Current lines at Sportsbook have Cerrone handicapped as the -220 favorite while the Jury upset will pay UFC odds of +180.

We see Cerrone laying the beatdown on the former TUF 15 Sportsbook for a fat +208 payday on the Cerrone wins inside the distance option. You can combine the UNDER 2.5 rounds at +160 and the fight doesn’t go to a decision at +130 for a UFC 182 odds parlay payday.

Another UFC odds prop bet that jumps out at us is the -160 option on Hector Lombard winning inside the distance against Josh Burkman. Lombard is handicapped as the Sportsbook -700 favorite to win the fight, and if that’s the case he wins most of his fights inside the distance. There looks to be some lopsided value in that option, even in a three-round fight.
