Jairzinho Rozenstruik (+130) has been idle for almost nine months since his loss to Blaydes, but he has managed to maintain the No. 8 spot in the heavyweight rankings.
- Volkov’s recent struggles reached new depths in his last outing. “Drago” lasted just 3:45 before being submitted by Tom Aspinall in their March matchup, and that defeat was as bad as it sounds. In addition to being taken down twice by Aspinall, Volkov was also outstruck by a wide 35-13 margin in the worst defeat of his 13-year pro MMA career.
- A proven finisher early in his career, Volkov has now seen two of his recent four losses come inside three rounds. And when he has lasted into championship rounds, things have not gone well, although the 33-year-old Russian managed to go a full five rounds in his recent dates with Curtis Blaydes and Ciryl Gane.
- Volkov outstruck Gane early in their Fight Night date last June before wearing down in late rounds. And in his clash with Blaydes, not only was Volkov outstruck by a wide margin, he also found himself controlled for almost 20 minutes of that matchup.

Evloev has been idle since improving to 15-0 with a unanimous-decision win over Hakeen Dawodu almost a year ago at UFC 263, while Ige now rides the first two-fight losing streak of his career after dropping a unanimous decision to Josh Emmett at UFC 269.
- Evloev enters the Octagon on Saturday as a massive favorite and with good reason. The 28-year-old Russian has been a dominant force in the featherweight division since joining the UFC three years ago. He has tallied five straight victories, all by unanimous decision, lifting him to No. 13 in the UFC rankings.
- A holder of the prestigious Master of Sport designation in Greco-Roman wrestling, Evloev is a beast on the mat. Despite his relatively short tenure in the UFC, he currently ranks seventh among active featherweights with 18 total takedowns.
- In addition to averaging over 6:45 of control time over his past two fights, Evloev has also established himself as an effective striker. However, there is no question that his greatest strength is wearing down opponents over the long haul with his superior grappling ability.

- Ige finds himself at a very real risk of falling out of the UFC featherweight rankings as he looks to this weekend’s clash with Evloev. The 30-year-old Hawaiian enjoyed a steady rise in the rankings while claiming victory in six of his first seven Octagon appearances.
