Bachelorette Betting Odds: Will Clare Crawley Find Love?

Clare Crawley Bachelorette Odds

For fans of The Bachelorette, this season has a dark cloud looming over it as it was announced in August that Clare Crawley — the current Bachelorette — stopped filming her season because she was head over heels in love with one of her suitors.

Crawley is no stranger to The Bachelor nation. Best known for her role as the runner-up on the 18th season of The Bachelor, the 39-year-old then participated in seasons 1 and 2 of Bachelor in Paradise, plus another spin-off series in Bachelor Winter Games.

Despite being two weeks into the show, it is widely believed that Crawley chose former NFL player Dale Moss as her choice, as she said in her first meeting with him that “she met her future husband.”

Bovada has released odds on whether Crawley will marry the recipient of the final rose, with 'no' coming in as the favorite answer at -280 and 'yes' coming in as the +185 underdog. The sportsbooks have also listed odds for the season 16 Bachelorette marrying the show's first runner-up.

Will There Even Be A Final Rose?

The Sacramento, California, native — and current Bachelorette — has experienced a ton of heartbreak in front of the cameras over her tenure with The Bachelor franchise. As a result, it was a heart-warming decision when Crawley was selected to be this year's Bachelorette. Even with a low rate of marriage success for past editions of the series, there was some optimism that the 39-year-old would be able to find love this time around.

Fans of the show were caught off guard, though, when news broke that Crawley had abruptly ended her season. With a new Bachelorette being chosen, there were many questions left unanswered and little certainty about how this season would end.

Usually, the show has several teasers throughout the season about the final rose ceremony and impending proposal, however, if the season is cut short the impending question becomes: will there even be a final rose? Rumors are swirling that show producers knew Crawley would end up with Dale Moss, so they would need to have a backup in place.

If that's the case there likely won't even be a final rose ceremony. Will she just walk into the sunset with her new man? We'll find out later this year.

Will We Have A Runner-Up This Season?

There is still plenty of speculation on The Bachelorette odds and what is going happen on this "shortened version" of the show. If Clare Crawley walks off the show with someone, is there even going to be a runner-up? Are all the remaining contestants runners-up? There is a ton of confusion and uncertainty when it comes to how this will all play out on television, but one thing is for sure, there will probably not be a runner-up.

Based on all the news out there regarding this season, it's fair to assume that Crawley finds the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and ultimately the two will walk off the show together. We have seen in years past that the person selected by the Bachelor or Bachelorette isn't ultimately right for them, as seen in the last season of The Bachelor. They sometimes end up regretting their choice and have even chosen the runner-up or one of the other contestants after the final rose ceremony.

Based on all the information laid out above and that is already out in the media, the easy bet here is to say 'no'. There is a very good reason the oddsmakers have heavily favored Crawley not selecting the runner-up in this situation at -1200. Based on all the teasers and trailers that ABC has shown to the public so far, the odds of there being any runners-up this season are slim to none.

You can place your bets on this season of The Bachelorette, but be aware that the final rose ceremony must take place for action at the sportsbooks.
