Patrick Corbin will be a cash cow for sports bettors in 2023.

YRFI/NRFI Picks For April 10: Two Big First-Inning Scorers

YRFI/NRFI picks (Yes/No Run First Inning) are one of the quickest, most lucrative ways to win your MLB bets. And we've got a pick every day.

Follow along for two YRFI/NRFI picks for Wednesday, April 10:

Pick 1: Nationals vs giants: Yes Run First Inning (-105)

Matchup Preview - Game Time: 3:40 pm ET

If you scope my same-game parlay, you'll see I'm counting on the UNDER 10.5 runs in this contest. That said, I'll gladly wager on a first-inning run.

First off, the Giants are remarkably reliable at scoring in the first. They've done it five times this season, tied for fourth in MLB, while allowing their opponent to score six times, which ranks second.

The Nationals, however, are 9-2 NRFI. But that's where my secret weapon Patrick Corbin steps in. The Nats lefty owns a career 5.22 ERA in the first inning, plus active Giants hitters are slashing .309/.350/.545 lifetime against him.

Pick 2: D-backs vs Rockies: Yes Run First Inning (-150)

Matchup Preview - Game Time: 3:10 pm ET

Don't stop me now, I'm smokin'!

Listen, I'm backing this bet until the wheels fall off. The D-backs and Rockies are both 9-3 YRFI this season, sporting the two best YRFI statlines in baseball.

Want a comical example of how reliable this bet is? Tuesday's game ended 3-2 in the D-backs' favor, but three of those five runs were scored in the first inning. That makes it six first-inning runs for Arizona this season, while Colorado has now allowed a first-inning run in eight games, leading MLB.

As I said yesterday, this is a heavenly setup for YRFI bettors.
