BetOdds
Dallas Mavericks ATS -1.5-114
Kyrie Irving to score 25+ Points+120
Al Horford OVER 6.5 Rebounds+102
Overall+587

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Dallas Mavericks ATS -1.5 (-114)

If you hadn't noticed, Game 3 is a must-win scenario for the Mavericks. No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 playoff series deficit.

Despite the Celtics dominance, many of the betting trends back the Mavericks in the third game of the 2024 NBA Finals. As teams seeded 3rd or worse (Dallas is the 5th seed), have gone 9-6 SU and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 NBA Finals contests in game 3 or later of the series.

I like Luka, Kyrie and company to put it all together in a must-win contest in front of their home fans.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Kyrie Irving to Score 25+ Points (+120)

Kyrie must play to the best of his abilities for the Dallas Mavericks to have any chance of winning Game 3.

Luckily, the American Airlines Arena will help with that. Kyrie has averaged 26.7 points on 50.5% shooting from the field, and 39.7% from three in his last 10 games at home.

Game 3 provides the perfect canvas for Irving to paint yet another NBA Finals' masterpiece. Expect a huge game from the mercurial superstar on Wednesday night.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Al Horford OVER 6.5 Rebounds (+102)

Al Horford has recorded at least seven rebounds in four of his last five games. The ageless unicorn is stealing playing big minutes for the Celtics. With Kristaps Porzingis visibly labouring in Game 2, I wouldn't be surprised to see Horford play in excess of 30 minutes yet again on Wednesday night.

Horford's averages 7.3 rebounds per game in the NBA playoffs. With each of these teams yet to shoot 50% from the field, or 40% from three, he'll have no problem surpassing his 6.5 rebound prop. Add Horford OVER 6.5 rebounds to your NBA Finals Game 3 same-game parlay.

BetOdds
Jrue Holiday OVER 12.5 Points-128
P.J. Washington OVER 14.5 Points+102
Kyrie Irving OVER 4.5 Assists-142
Overall+422

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Jrue Holiday OVER 12.5 Points (-128)

Jrue Holiday's team-high 26 points in Game 2 were his second most of the postseason and more than he scored in any game during the regular season. It's rare for the two-time All-Star and former champion to lead Boston in scoring, but it was a welcome occurrence in a matchup where the end result wasn't determined until the final minute of play.

For someone who only averaged 12.5 points across 69 appearances in 2023-24, Holiday has actually exceeded the 12.5-point mark in eight of his last nine outings. He's surprisingly the Celtics' second-leading scorer in this series versus Dallas, so ride this wave at a reasonable prop by oddsmakers that should nail the OVER.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: P.J. Washington OVER 14.5 Points (+102)

It's Groundhog Day for the Mavericks with the Finals emulating their second-round series with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the sense that P.J. Washington is averaging more points than teammate Kyrie Irving, as the opposing defense has made the latter more of a priority.

Washington is contributing 15.5 points per game against Boston as Irving struggles to get into a rhythm offensively. He'll need at least 15 points on Wednesday to hit the OVER on this prop, which he just did in Game 2 finishing with 17 in 40 minutes. Dallas' only real shot of making this a series is if someone like Washington can bring more to the table scoring wise, and on his home floor, the possibility is strong.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Kyrie Irving OVER 4.5 Assists (-142)

Despite his woeful shooting, Irving will continue to command a ton of attention from defenders because his track record speaks for itself. He can get hot in a hurry, but as we've seen already, the backcourt duo of Holiday and Derrick White may be too much for even someone of Irving's skill to overcome.

Irving notched six assists in Game 2, but he hasn't put together consecutive games of five or more since facing the No. 1-seeded Thunder. The trends would suggest he won't nail the OVER with five or more dimes on Wednesday, but he may still do so out of sheer necessity.
