Dallas Mavericks Vs. Toronto Raptors
The Game: Dallas Mavericks vs. Toronto Raptors, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Dallas Mavericks | -3 (+110) | -148 | O 237.5 (-108) |
Toronto Raptors | +3 (-110) | +126 | U 237.5 (-112) |
Pick: Dallas Mavericks ML
Losing a game in as devastating a manner as the Dallas Mavericks did on Tuesday, with Max Strus connecting on a 59-foot buzzer-beater as time expired, can only motivate a team when they take the hardwood at the next opportunity.
They'll have their hands full with a Toronto Raptors squad that's undefeated since returning from the All-Star break at 3-0 SU, though. Toronto defeated Dallas at the American Airlines Center on Nov. 8, as well, but both rosters have undergone dramatic transformations since then, which rings especially true for the Raptors.
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving played heavy minutes against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and while fatigue may come into play, Dallas is still well equipped with greater depth than they once had to vanquish the Raptors at Scotiabank Arena.
New Orleans Pelicans Vs. Indiana Pacers
The Game: New Orleans Pelicans vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
New Orleans Pelicans | +5.5 (-110) | +184 | O 238.5 (-112) |
Indiana Pacers | -5.5 (-110) | -220 | U 238.5 (-108) |
Pick: New Orleans Pelicans ATS +5.5
Wednesday marks the first of two-straight games between the New Orleans Pelicans and Indiana Pacers, with the two sides splitting their pair of meetings in 2022-23.
New Orleans is only 4-5 when on the second night of a back-to-back slate, although they did handle the depleted New York Knicks in convincing fashion with a blowout win at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday which helped limit the minutes of key starters.
Even should the Pelicans fall, a 5.5-point spread is enticing enough against a Pacers team that's only 2-5 ATS in their last seven games at home and 1-4 ATS against Western Conference opposition.
Sacramento Kings Vs. Denver Nuggets
The Game: Sacramento Kings vs. Denver Nuggets, 9 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Sacramento Kings | +7.5 (-112) | +235 | O 230.5 (-110) |
Denver Nuggets | -7.5 (-108) | -290 | U 230.5 (-110) |
Pick: OVER 230.5 Points
The total of 230.5 points has been surpassed by the Sacramento Kings and Denver Nuggets in two of their three games this season, although the latest on Valentine's Day only reached 200 points.
Denver shot below 40 percent from the field that night, which is rare for the sixth-ranked team in field-goal percentage and the league's No. 10 offense.
The Kings and Nuggets usually have high-scoring affairs, and with Sacramento having gone OVER in eight of its last 11 games, there's enough optimism here to like the OVER with confidence.
