Indiana Pacers Vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The Game: Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Indiana Pacers | +7 (-110) | +220 | O 240.5 (-110) |
Oklahoma City Thunder | -7 (-110) | -270 | U 240.5 (-110) |
Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder ATS -7
The Oklahoma City Thunder are beasts at the Paycom Center, having won nine in a row SU with their last home loss coming back on Jan. 27. They, along with the Boston Celtics, are the only teams with a top-three offense and defense when playing on their home floor.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and company have covered the spread two-thirds of the time across their last 12 appearances, while the visiting Indiana Pacers are 3-7 ATS as of late against Western Conference foes and winless at 0-7 over their last seven tries SU when battling opposition from the Northwest Division.
When Oklahoma City prevails, it does so in convincing fashion. The last win which didn't cover Tuesday's seven-point spread was on Jan. 31 in a 105-100 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Milwaukee Bucks Vs. Sacramento Kings
The Game: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Milwaukee Bucks | -2 (-110) | -132 | O 236 (-110) |
Sacramento Kings | +2 (-110) | +112 | U 236 (-110) |
Pick: Sacramento Kings ML
The Milwaukee Bucks narrowly eked out a 143-142 win in overtime back on Jan. 14 over the Sacramento Kings at the Fiserv Forum in one of the more tightly-contested, high-scoring affairs of the regular season.
On paper, Milwaukee pulling off a 124-117 road win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday after dropping the two games prior looks great. However, with Los Angeles not playing Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, it wasn't as straightforward a victory as it likely should have been for the Bucks in hindsight.
Sacramento is healthy and averaging 117.2 points per 100 possessions over its last eight games, good enough for seventh across the Association. A similar effort against the Kings at the Golden 1 Center by Milwaukee simply won't suffice, and with oddsmakers listing Sacramento as the underdog, there's more upside to be had betting in its favor.
Philadelphia 76ers Vs. New York Knicks
The Game: Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET
Team | Spread | Money | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Philadelphia 76ers | +6 (-106) | +194 | O 208.5 (-110) |
New York Knicks | -6 (-114) | -230 | U 208.5 (-110) |
Pick: OVER 208.5. Total Points
Taking the OVER after the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks literally just had the lowest-scoring game of the entire 2023-24 campaign is ... odd? Risky? Silly?
What Sunday's 79-73 victory for Philly at Madison Square Garden didn't have, though, was All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey, who's expected to return to the lineup following a four-game absence after missing time with a mild concussion. New York should also have O.G. Anunoby back, as well, after he's been out since Jan. 27 with an elbow injury.
A 208.5-point total is usually an enticing wager in this day and age when points are plentiful and defense is almost frowned upon. The presence of both Maxey and Anunoby should help both team's offenses considerably in what will hopefully be a more entertaining basketball game which doesn't emulate contests from the late 90's.
