Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Los Angeles Clippers ML

Kawhi Leonard is listed as questionable as of Saturday night for the opening contest between Los Angeles and Dallas due to right inflammation in his right knee. The Clippers were an even 7-7 without Leonard in the lineup during the regular season, but lost their last three games sans their superstar forward.

Dallas possesses an identical road record SU at 25-16 to what Los Angeles had on its own home floor. During a stretch from March 7 through April 10, the Mavericks won 16 of a possible 18 games with exactly half of those victories coming away from the American Airlines Center.

The franchise's last postseason berth came in 2021-22, advancing through to the Western Conference finals but losing each Game 1 along the way. Much of this prop comes with the hope that Leonard will be able to suit up, but as we saw on Saturday, home is where the heart is for most teams and that could ultimately be the deciding factor to lift the Clippers with or without him.

The odds aren't painting Dallas as a monster favorite with Leonard's status up in the air, so there's value to be had going moneyline with the Clippers, with those odds perhaps taking a drastic shift come tipoff.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Kyrie Irving OVER 24.5 Points

Luka Doncic will have his name circled once, twice, and three times over on the Clippers' white board back in the locker room as the obvious point of emphasis to contain on defense. Now that's not to suggest the rest of the Mavericks' roster will be an afterthought, because the forever-dangerous Kyrie Irving can light up Los Angeles in a flash, and we're hoping he does this afternoon.

Irving played in two of the three games against the Clippers, averaging 26.5 points while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and converting half of his eight attempts per outing from 3-point range. He dropped 26 and 27 points in those appearances, respectively, which would both have surpassed the 24.5-point total set for Sunday.

Doncic will get his on offense, as per usual, but so will Irving. If anything, Doncic may look to get his teammate going first and then pick up the pace later on should the scoreboard be close. The on-court rapport between the two looks as strong as its ever been.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Paul George To Record 6+ Rebounds

This prop is not a lock by any means, even though grabbing at least six rebounds shouldn't be an insurmountable feat for a player the caliber of Paul George.

The 33-year-old forward snagged six or more boards only three times out of 11 tries without Leonard by his side. For the season as a whole, George finished with six or more rebounds in 34 of his 74 total outings, which equates to just under 46 percent.

We're taking a chance here, but one that's worth the risk in a Game 1 when effort can sometimes overcome whatever hurdles there may be.
